This post has all the information you need to know about Porsches, including the fact that they have a rich history of racing, one that includes many victories from the world’s most prestigious races.

What is Porsche?

Porsche is a German manufacturer of sports cars. It was founded in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche and has built around 400,000 cars to date. As with many high-performance driving machines, the company is famous for its handling capabilities, racing successes, and high-quality design elements.

History of Porsche

Porsche was founded by Ferdinand Porsche in 1932. In the 1930s, Ferdinand had designed a new car named “Kaferwagen”. This vehicle was based on a motorcycle and was made out of aluminum. Unfortunately, the company ended up going bankrupt in 1931. Porsche also designed some spectacular racing cars during this time period, such as the Type 64 Grand Prix car and the Type 356A Grand Prix car.

Famous Porsche cars

Porsche has a long history of producing some of the most famous and sought-after sports cars in the world. The company was founded by Ferdinand Michael Porsche in 1931 and is known for its high performance vehicles with breathtaking designs. Although Porsche is not well-known for manufacturing family cars, there are some models that have exceeded expectations including the Boxster and the Cayman.

Porsche and the World War II

In the beginning of World War II, Porsche was just a small auto company in Zuffenhausen. Most people were not yet aware that this company would soon become a world famous manufacturer of sports cars. Porsche and the World War II are like night and day. In the beginning, it was the driving performance that brought people to the dealership and today you can find many vintage Porsche cars on different car shows around the world.
