Renowned Indian Journalist, Ranjeet Yadav, Makes Waves with Pioneering Contributions to Hindi Journalism

Ranjeet Yadav, a prominent figure in Indian journalism, has been making significant strides in the field with his remarkable contributions to Hindi journalism. Currently holding the position of Editor at the Hindi newspaper “Patrakar News” and the news agency “News of India,” Yadav has a notable career that spans over two decades.

Born on June 8, 1983, in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, Ranjeet completed his education in his hometown. His father, the late Khushi Ram Yadav, was a contractor, laying the foundation for Yadav’s early exposure to diverse experiences.

Ranjeet Yadav embarked on his journalistic journey during his student years, starting in 2001 by contributing articles to a Hindi newspaper in Shahjahanpur. His talent quickly garnered attention, leading to features in prestigious Hindi magazines based in Delhi and Lucknow.

In 2003, Ranjeet relocated to Gorakhpur, where he assumed the role of Deputy Editor for a Hindi daily newspaper. Despite his geographic shift, he continued to contribute to influential Hindi magazines such as “Sharp Reporter” and “Manmeet” in Delhi and Azamgarh, showcasing his versatility and dedication to the craft.

In 2011, Yadav founded “Patrakar News,” initially as a Hindi monthly magazine. The success of this venture prompted the launch of “Patrakar News,” a Hindi weekly newspaper, in 2016. His commitment to quality journalism further manifested in 2018 with the establishment of “News of India,” a news agency specializing in providing Hindi news and articles for various publications.

Apart from his editorial pursuits, Ranjeet Yadav is deeply engaged in social work and currently serves as the National President of the Journalist Association (India). The association actively advocates for the rights and welfare of journalists across the country.

Yadav’s outstanding contributions to journalism earned him accolades from notable figures. In 2016, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Ram Naik, honored him for his remarkable contributions to the field. The same year saw recognition from the Governor of West Bengal, Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi.

Throughout his career, Yadav has used the power of journalism to bring about positive change. Notable campaigns led by him include a crusade against unethical practices in paramedical colleges during his tenure at “Patrakar News.” Additionally, in 2017, he shed light on the inappropriate dressing of schoolgirls outside hotels near Gorakhpur Railway Station, raising awareness about the issue.

One of Yadav’s most commendable achievements occurred in 2019 when he played a pivotal role in securing the release of Mahendra, a driver from Varanasi who was wrongfully arrested in Nepal on charges of an accident.

Ranjeet Yadav’s journey in journalism stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to journalistic ethics, social responsibility, and the betterment of society.
