An Evening of Inspiration – Young Authors Launchpad and Public Speaking Championship Finale Celebrates Budding Talent

On the night of September 29, 2024, the grand finale of the Young Authors Launchpad and Public Speaking Championship brought an enchanting atmosphere to the India International Centre in New Delhi. Under the leadership of founder Chhavi Mehta, the event was a remarkable showcase of literary and oratory prowess, inspiring audiences with the creativity and dedication of young minds.

The evening commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the enlightenment of knowledge and creativity that the program nurtures in its young participants. A lineup of 16 young authors, ranging from ages 3 to 16, proudly launched their books. These young storytellers captivated everyone in attendance with narratives that spanned adventure, fantasy, and personal reflections. Dr. Prof. Sona Kaushal, a renowned Consultant Neuro Psychologist and expert in Child Psychology, expressed her admiration for the program and shared how deeply inspired she is by Chhavi Mehta’s vision. She commended Chhavi for creating the Young Authors Launchpad, highlighting it as an incredible initiative that not only nurtures creativity but also contributes significantly to mental well-being and good mental health in children.
