Discussion on Decarbonization at ISHRAE Cool Conclave in Jaipur

Jaipur, 03 August 2024: A discussion on decarbonization took place over the first two days of the three-day Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Cool Conclave that began on Thursday in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The chairman of the Cool Conclave, Pankaj, stated that the ongoing event at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre is proving to be a great opportunity for professionals and organizations committed to environmental sustainability. On the second day of the event, there was a deep exploration of decarbonization and innovative solutions were derived. The participants aimed to gain valuable insights into the future of decarbonization, discover innovative solutions, and contribute to shaping policies that will lead us towards a more sustainable and resilient future, shaping the future of decarbonization.  

 

The event saw discussions on actionable strategies to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable practices in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry by experts, organizational leaders, industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and environmentalists. The event focused on innovative decarbonization strategies and the development of sustainable infrastructure. In addition to Mr. Dharkar, other speakers included Anshul Gujarati, Sudhir Mathur, Anup Balani, Aditya Narayan Singh, Lavleen Singh, TBD, Mr. Beam Al Patwari, and Mr. Rushmir Mujik, among other experts, who shared their views on decarbonization. The second day concluded with a networking break and the Decarbonization Excellence Awards. 

 

 Earlier, on Thursday, the event was inaugurated with a keynote address by Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the former royal family of Udaipur. He emphasized the need to increase children’s understanding of the environment and heritage from a young age, suggesting that parents and educational institutions need to work specifically in this direction. He stated that the conversation about sustainability and heritage will only be successful when the coming generations are aware of it. Mr. Dharkar highlighted the need to accelerate efforts to combat climate change.
